The elegantly decorated living room with floor to ceiling windows and access onto one of the three patios is furnished with a small dining table, perfect for an intimate dinner or comfortable workspace, comfortable lounge seating, a flatscreen TV and gas fireplace. Even on the rainiest day, this living room is bright, welcoming and a perfect place to relax. The adjoining patio provides you with unobstructed southwest views as well as a sitting area where you can watch the sunset over the city as you sip a nightcap.

Down the hallway, youll find the immaculate, modern kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances and upscale fittings. Enjoy the view from the window over the sink and in the mornings, bask in the light that pours in through the windows as you sip your coffee. In this fully stocked and updated kitchen, youll find everything you need for a comfortable, effortless stay including a washer/dryer unit for your convenience tucked away in a kitchen closet. From the kitchen you have access to the extensive second patio that offers sweeping southern, western and northern views of the city, peek-a-boo views of the ocean beyond. There is also a Coleman barbeque ready for you to grill your favourite meal as you look out over the city.

The second bedroom offers guests minimalist furniture, incredible city views and access to the second patio. Here you can find a space to relax, reflect and rest to prepare for your next adventure in the Capital City. At the end of the hallway, youll find the second bathroom complete with sleek, unpretentious finishing, ample light and a unique, tiled, Italianate shower stall that lends an air of European elegance to the economical space.

The peaceful primary bedroom is a stylishly furnished space with a lush king-sized bed, private workspace, television and full en suite bathroom. The king-sized bed is fitted with luxurious linens and is the perfect place to wake up to the beautiful view through the bank of windows. On a sunny morning, you can have your coffee out onto the private patio and enjoy the small seating area and gorgeous northwest city and water views. Around a unique curved wall, youll find the large, private en-suite that boasts a large spa soaker tub, deluxe shower room and high-end fittings to allow ample space and light for all your ablutions.

This beautiful condo is available for extended stays one month minimum and is outfitted with high speed WiFi connection and access to a private parking spot.

You wont need a car often though as this suite is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Victoria and is just steps away from the citys most important historical sites, incredible shopping, restaurants and beaches!

Only a five minute walk takes you to the Inner Harbour where you can see the Legislative Buildings, The Empress Hotel and walk along the causeway enjoying the view of the water and watch the boats bob in the marina. From here, walk north along the harbour and youll find the popular, bustling Government Street, one of the oldest streets in Victoria. Here, you can find historical sites like Bastion Square and Chinatown as well as incredible shopping and dining along Johnson Street and in Market Square.

For local, fresh groceries and an incredible selection of organic items, the Red Barn Market in James Bay is only a ten-minute walk away. James Bay is where you can also find incredible, craft coffee roasters, locally owned and operated eateries and so much more.

Take a leisurely twenty minute walk south, through some of the most beautiful streets in Victoria and you will find yourself on the beloved seaside path on Dallas Road. This almost 7-kilometer stretch has little coves dotted along its length. Exploring this stretch is the perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying Victorias natural beauty.

605 Douglas Street condo-Victoria

We stayed at 605 Douglas for 5 weeks in February and March. The condo and its location were ideal. The property is obviously someone's residence, and is decorated and equipped at a high level. The appliances are all good quality-although we only prepared breakfast and snacks. We used SKIP for the main meal of each day it was vacation-after all. There is also a barbecue which we didn't use on one of the balconies. The living areas were comfortably and stylishly equipped, with a good-sized TV, TELUS cable service, and decorated with personal keepsakes and art. Everything-the condo, the building, and grounds-was clean and in good repair.
The management company was organized and easy to deal with, and responsive to any minor issues that we had. They returned our damage deposit within a week of our departure.
The condo is located across the street from Beacon Hill Park, where we walked most days. Unfortunately the pandemic kept us from visiting the many attractions and museums in the area. We had all of our groceries delivered from Thrifty's in James Bay village, which worked well.
We would stay here again.
