Creekside Estate is a luxurious 5000 sq. ft. West Coast architecturally designed home situated on a 1/2 acre private park like property, south facing, with lovely city and ocean inlet views. On one side of the property is a beautiful creek with a waterfall, which one can enjoy from a cedar deck situated in the trees. The rest of the home is surrounded by gardens, ponds, and a large pool patio with its own Cabana. The feel of the house is of living in spacious elegant comfort surrounded by nature. The setting is one of privacy and tranquility, while still being close to the city, the amenities of West Vancouver, and several of the Olympic venues.

As you enter this three story home, you feel the warmth of the natural Cedar, Terracotta tiles and wool Berber carpets. On the main floor, the open plan leads to a spacious living room with high vaulted ceilings and gorgeous city views. This room is wonderful for both relaxing and entertaining with ambient lighting and a stereo. It has a comfortable sitting area with two leather sofas, and elegant arm chairs all on a thick wool area rug situated around the sand coloured rock walled gas fireplace. The palette of the living room and most of the house is of natural tones. The next room that the open plan leads to is the family room. It has a wet bar, new comfortable over sized taupe sofa and love seat, wool Berber carpets, a free standing brushed steel gas fireplace, flat screen HDTV and DVD player, and lovely city and poolside views. For Guests with young children, upon request a nice play area can be created in the family room with a play table, and age appropriate toys and books.

The family and living room have floor to ceiling glass sliding doors which open up to a beautiful south facing private pool patio and garden area. The tiled pool has a built in hot tub. The Cabana provides an outdoor covered living room with comfortable lounging furniture, a gas BBQ, and a bathroom with a private open air shower. The pool is included for summer rentals, but an additional charge will apply if the guest would like the pool to be made available during the Olympics. Regardless, it enhances the setting all year round. A child safe pool fence can be set up upon request.

The kitchen is very spacious and features a 10 foot wide window with lovely views of the garden, ponds and creek waterfall. The kitchen is open plan to the breakfast room, which has an eating area which can seat 6 people. The counter bar can seat an additional two people. The fully equipped kitchen is being updated to include a new gas cook top, and fridge, and granite counter tops. There is a second BBQ, using natural gas, on the patio off the kitchen.

The dining room has a spectacular city view, can seat 10 people in elegant arm chairs around a mahogany dining room table, and is lit by a designer glass blown chandelier hanging from the 2 story high vaulted ceiling.

The main floor also has 2 large offices with wireless internet connection, a powder room, and laundry room.

Upstairs is the master bedroom suite, and 3 other guest bedrooms all carpeted with wool Berber carpet. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, cozy seating area, fireplace, TV, dressing area and a balcony overlooking the creek and garden. The en suite has a deep Jacuzzi tub, bidet, and steam/mist sauna and lots of windows to a lovely view of the private woods on the west side of the property.

The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third and fourth bedrooms both have double beds - bed size may be adjusted to accommodate Guests with the Owners consent. All the bedrooms are of a good size with vaulted ceilings, lofts, ceiling fans, large built-in closets and enclosed balconies with beautiful city views. The beds all have down duvets, down pillows, and high thread count sheets. Each bedroom has night tables with good reading lights, and a small sofa or comfortable arm chair. For Guests with children, a toddler bed or crib can be made available.

One of the enclosed upstairs balconies has a bar table and 4 rattan bar stools, where guests can enjoy a spectacular city view over a glass of wine.

The large upstairs bathroom has a shower and deep Jacuzzi tub, bidet and lots of natural light from skylights. A good supply of plush cotton bath towels will be available for all Guests.

The spacious downstairs family room consists of a home theatre with a 90 inch projection HDTV, a sound system, a wood burning fireplace and a bedroom area with a double bed. The sleeping area has been screened off from the rest of the room to create a feeling of comfort and privacy. The adjoining downstairs bathroom has a shower.

Guests can park in the enclosed 2 car carport which is built into the lower level of the house. There is also additional guest parking on the property.

Creekside Estate is located within 20 minutes of downtown Vancouver - GM Place, and within 10 minutes of Cypress Mountain one of the main Olympic venues. Whistler is less than 1.5 hours away. It is within minutes of Park Royal which is a great shopping mall, Park Royal Village where you will find Whole Foods, restaurants, specialty stores and coffee bars, Ambleside and Dundarave Villages, the seawall which is a lovely walk along the West Vancouver waterfront, the newly built and architecturally designed West Vancouver Recreation Center equipped with a high end modern fitness center and Aquatic centre.

PAYMENTS REQUIRED

The first payment is a deposit of 50% of the accommodation total plus applicable taxes due at time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to occupancy. Damage deposits are a pre-authorized hold on your credit card and are collected only if deemed necessary.
