Beachside Living Cherry Point
We rented this property for my parents for their 50th wedding Anniversary. It is a beautiful location and a beautiful home. <br/>We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of everything however. When we arrived almost every surface had something sticky or brown on it . The outside bar was covered in a layer of green, which made it obvious it Hadnt been cleaned properly in quite some time. We spent about an hour and a half trying to get it presentable, inside and out , and it was visibly not dusted.The showers were dirty and still had hair in them. Needless to say were underwhelmed by cleanliness factor especially after being told there was extra covid cleaning happening, which was clearly not the case. The 400 cleaning fee was excessive for what we walked into !
We did enjoy our weekend and it was the perfect venue for us.
I highly recommend getting new cleaning crew.

This is a great home with gorgeous views. Very peaceful. Eagles and other prey birds flying closely… wonderful!! Our only disappointment was that the long featured wharf and beach were not available. The place could be better stocked, e.g. more than 8 of each in cutlery, plates, glasses, we had to spend a lot of time hand washing or machine washing dishes… salt, pepper, some extra pillow cases and blankets would have been useful. Overall, we would certainly go back… We appreciated that the property manager was easy to reach.

Beachside Cottage Mill Bay
Beachside Cottage has been the perfect home base for myself, Laura and my parents, as we searched for a place for my parents to retire to on the island from Ontario. This experience next to the sea has been remarkable – waking up to ocean sunrises and spotting seals and dolphins from the living room! Morning beach walks at low tide were a refreshing way to start the day, and daily swims became a ritual. What a beautiful home and location! Manor Suite Off Rockland
We spent all of April at Elizabeth, Bob and Louie’s suite. The neighbourhood is beautiful and it is a 20-25 minute walk to downtown, Cook Street Village and Oak Bay Village.<br/>The unit was well equipped, clean and bright. We look forward to staying with them again.<br/>There seemed to be overkill in the amount of paperwork sent by the Property Management company. I feel that it could be streamlined in some areas.<br/>

ProsOur week in this suite was very comfortable and spacious. The balcony overlooked the beautifully landscape grounds with a peek at the marina and bay. There are ocean views and some beach within a 5 min walk. In April the building was very quiet and it seemed we had the gym and sauna to ourselves. Amazing bathroom with lots of storage for makeup and hair tools with cozy heated floors. We loved the location being 5 min to the ferries and Victoria about 30min away. The underground parking and bike storage was also great! The kitchen was a very nice size for the week.
Cons for some reason we didn’t find the beautiful king bed very comfortable could be just us.
Otherwise, one of our best vacations! I would return here for the slow pace and peace and quiet in this elegant setting.
Herons Landing
We had a great time staying at Herons Landing. The house was beautiful and clean with anything you could need to cook in the home. Close to the water and easy drive to Sidney or Victoria.
That being said, the ad listed on both VRBO and AirBnb stated this was a rental house, not shared living. It stated there was a SEPARATE caretaker or renter residence ON THE PROPERTY. It did not say it was a shared home or shared yard. We rented this house to specifically have it to ourselves. The yard was shared with renters in the basement who let their dog out into the backyard. The ad seems dishonest and misleading. We wouldnt have rented if we knew it was a shared house/yard.

We were travelling with family from the Toronto area, neither had been to the Island. Wanting 3 bedroom accommodations, a house was the best option for us! We all enjoyed the house and would come again! We were about 20 minutes from Victoria but managed with GPS! Home very clean , comfortable,and beautiful views! Yes! The hot tub thumbs up!

Station Villa Executive Condo
Condo was in Excellent location for golfing. Lots of courses working a half hour drive. Was bigger than expected. Cleanliness was average. If you were a extra clean person you might not be satisfied. Was fine for us. Close to Costco Walmart superstore and other shopping at the small mall was also great.

We completed a long weekend at Pendray House with three generations to celebrate a 90th birthday. The home was perfect for everyone with enough space for quieter types and open gathering places in the kitchen, living room and dining room for conversation and laughter together. The beach in front allows for walks on the shoreline, exploring tide pools and for the hardy soul, swimming. It is about a 15 minute drive to Sidney with great shopping and restaurants and about 35 minutes to Downtown Victoria. I would definitely recommend this home for families or for a group of friends wanting to enjoy a reunion in a relaxed environment. The check-in process was seamless. Our greeter Richard, was very welcoming as were the neighbors that we met on the beach. All in all, it was a great place to holiday at.

It was a lovely spot to reunite with old friends. Very nice feeling to the place. Shopping was handy by. We cooked a lot. A very nice kitchen and dining room combo for preparing meals together.

We had a wonderful staycation. The property is breathtaking. The ocean and beach are just outside your backdoor. The patio is a perfect place to have a BBQ, Happy Hour or just sit back and relax. Loved the wood burning fireplace inside house and that wood was provided. Lots of beds available for everyone and we all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware and cutlery. Maybe a bit over stocked with other items. Some reorganization of the kitchen cupboards and drawers might also free up some space for any groceries that you bring along. Not a big deal, just a suggestion. Would not hesitate to book again!

It was everything as described. Loved the location, easy access to downtown Sidney. Can’t say enough, wonderful condo with everything you need. Small hotplate burner could have been a stove but we managed. Will stay here again if we get the chance. Will definitely look at booking through EMR as they were very helpful and easy to deal with. Wonderful, wonderful.

This property is beautifully appointed, cozy and very comfortable. Great walk-a-bility, right out the front door. Lovely garden area and semi-waterfront view from porch. Enjoyed our visit to Sidney and the Saanich Peninsula area of Vancouver Island very much, and plan to return here hopefully soon.

Enjoyed our stay. Unit seemed as though it was once lovely – but very tired now and needing repairs . Priority … new bedroom linen, and repairs to lifting of kitchen floor following severe water damage. One side of recliner doesnt work.

Highly recommended. Everything you need in kitchen to cook a full meal. MW convection oven like a regular oven. Unit clean and comfortable. Lovely king size bed. Location is very quiet and picturesque, near trees and ocean, with a nice bench to sit with your sweetie and watch the water.

This was a great rental property. The building is well kept. The location is ideal for exploring the greater Victoria area. For those with bicycles it is perfect as they have a very secure locked bike storage room and the Galloping Goose trail is easily accessed down the street. This is the best and most generously equipped and organized condo that I have ever rented. <br/>Everything including the gas bbq, the comfortable bed, the printer, the washer/dryer, the secure underground parking and more made this a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this unit.

Once again a terrific experience in Jim’s cottage. Great location within walking distance to Sidney and ocean etc. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Our home away from home.

Fabulous location. EMR was excellent in responding to issues that needed attention. Disappointed that the fence was not repaired until just before we left so our small dog was not able to use the yard.The wall oven was problematic and needs to be replaced and the carpet in the living room was very stained and also needs to be replaced. Lots of dishes and utensils but a few more pots would be nice. The sectional in the living room is showing it’s age as well as the patio furniture. A few coasters would be good in the living room. Kudos to Yvonne and her staff as well as Diane and Brad the gardeners.

I was frustrated and disappointed in this rental.- firewood is not included.- the building was stone cold when we arrived- missing equipment and broken equipment eg shovel for fireplace, no tea pot etc, no candles or matches<br/>- the hosting process is inconvenient<br/>- there is no safe access to the water- the gazebo was locked, so we couldn’t spend time near the ocean. <br/> for the 5 bedrooms there was a total of 2 extra blankets. you need more blankets. there were no extra linens for the beds. For example, there were no sheets for the hide-a-bed.

Wonderful, the only issue was the hot water did not work properly the last night. Also, the shower in the master bedroom was too short.

Our fun group of ladies had a wonderful time together at this beautiful and spacious house. It was a relaxing sanctuary to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. The hot tub was bonus, the large fully stocked kitchen made meal prep easy and the comfortable beds provided a good nights sleep.

We had a wonderful 4 day family reunionthe property was great. I’m mentioned the coffee maker not working, a plumbing issue and not being able to reset the breaker that tripped to an EMR employee. I suggest you provide documentation for the barbeque.

We enjoyed our stay. This is the 3rd review I have written so I hope this time it is recorded.
Suggestions. More lighting in the downstairs living room. Three of us could not sit in there and read as there was not enough lighting.Grab bars in the bathrooms.
A walk in shower in the downstairs bathroom. Communication between management and us was mostly excellent. I would appreciate communication to be from one source rather than 3. At times I almost deleted messages as I did not know who they were from. An issue with the outside light was very quickly fixed.
We loved our stay here three seniors, one of whom used a walker We would absolutely recommend this property.

We had a great time. We have 2 pups and the yard was completely fenced in which gave our dogs the freedom to go in and out as they please. The house was really comfortable as well as the beds and the hot tub was a nice feature. The Owner was really helpful with any problems. We would definately consider booking this property again.

The Corazon
This condo made it possible for us to enjoy the great experience of a holiday in Victoria. It is well appointed, clean and comfortable with above all, spectacular views of the harbour action and mountains. A variety of enjoyable walks from the front door and access to many more within a 15 minute drive.
James Bay Studio Stay
Fun to stay on the 5th floor in a cozy studio in a quiet well-maintained building.<br/>Dwayne was warm and helpful as a host. The apartment was clean with a full kitchen with all you need to cook and bake.
Landmark Executive Condo
We stayed at 605 Douglas for 5 weeks in February and March. The condo and its location were ideal. The property is obviously someone’s residence, and is decorated and equipped at a high level. The appliances are all good quality-although we only prepared breakfast and snacks. We used SKIP for the main meal of each day it was vacation-after all. There is also a barbecue which we didn’t use on one of the balconies. The living areas were comfortably and stylishly equipped, with a good-sized TV, TELUS cable service, and decorated with personal keepsakes and art. Everything-the condo, the building, and grounds-was clean and in good repair.
The management company was organized and easy to deal with, and responsive to any minor issues that we had. They returned our damage deposit within a week of our departure.
The condo is located across the street from Beacon Hill Park, where we walked most days. Unfortunately the pandemic kept us from visiting the many attractions and museums in the area. We had all of our groceries delivered from Thrifty’s in James Bay village, which worked well.We would stay here again.

Great location,easy walking distance to inner harbour and park!view from our 7th floor location was fantastic providing a 180 degree vista! The building has only 30 to 35 owners and is very quiet and well maintained!Underground parking was a bonus!
Beachside Living Cherry Point
This home was a perfect place for us to stay to explore the Cowichan Valley. We are 4 women friends who wanted to spend some time together for exploration, relaxation and just visiting. It had 4 spacious bedrooms which gave us our own private space, a large bright living area with a well equipped open kitchen and a beautiful ocean view with stairs to the beach. It was a special place to wake up to each morning and retreat to every night after our busy days. We did not have time to make use of the ping pong table and fitness rooms in the basement. Overall a great place to unwind even if you stay in the whole time.

We had a lovely time at this location. The view and beach access were fantastic! The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We found the late check in and early check out time to be a bit frustrating with a two night stay, but only because we wanted more time at this lovely home.

Beautiful home with a picturesque view. The beach access and playhouse provided endless entertainment for our young son. The view is something from a magazine, with plenty of birds and marine life to spot with binoculars. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a month in Victoria in a great location, close to Government House, downtown, and the coastal road. Our hosts were delightful and their pup Louie enjoyed meeting our pup Jocko. Everything was just as advertised, and expected.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, airy, roomy, I could go on and on. This property exceeded expectations. Excellent location, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Langford. 15 minutes drive to Victoria. We stayed here for a week. We are a family of 4 adults, my parents came from the UK. Checking in and out was easy, downloaded the app and informed the host what time we were arriving. The key was waiting for us. I highly recommend this property for a family of 4. Will definitely stay again.
Herons Landing
The loss of several thousand dollars – attempting to partner with EMR / VRBO is just one of the significant losses to our family, because of Covid. In the end, compared to the grieving of loved ones, it’s little more than worthless money.

The property is in a fantastic location. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and pot you would need. The bedding and the beds were very comfortable. Great restful spot!

We cannot rave about this property enough. Everything was immaculate and it was so well-appointed. We stayed there for a month and our only regret was not booking it longer. The home/location/views are incredible. Couple that with amazing service from EMR and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay. We’ll be back. Thanks again!

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo, which has amazing furnishings and artwork. Loved the heated floor in Master Bedroom ensuite, and the size of the bathroom with both a soaker tube and a separate walk in shower.

The place locates in middle of downtown Langford, convenient and close to everywhere. The property is spacious, comfortable with well taken care of outdoor plants around. The management was very friendly and always there when I needed help. Excellent place to stay!

We stayed here in one of the coldest periods in Victoria’s history. The condo was warm and clean and well stocked in terms of kitchen items. A very nice place to stay. Our only suggestion would be to expand cable offerings and have it hooked up and ready upon arrival. It was unplugged in its entirety with batteries missing from remotes.

We had a great time staying at this property. Dealing with Dwayne was great when we came in. Location was great and property was great. We had everything we needed at the condo. Sauna in master bedroom was a nice feature. Cable Tv channels were not great. It would have been good to have a security password for cable. Having open internet security these days is not good. This was first location we have ever experienced with no password. I had to do some banking and had to connect through phone.

We spent a week here, 7 of us, 3 generations from Ontario visiting our family in the area. Everything was perfect & beyond our expectations. It felt like home. The house had everything we needed & was very well equipped for making our meals. The cottage was clean & comfortable. Location couldnt be better! It is a short drive to all the attractions & a few minutes from the airport.<br/>We will definitely plan to return.

Lots of offensive and time-consuming paper work ahead of time, apparently designed to see renter has no rights. The greeter failed to show up, or to communicate with us. I have rarely experienced such extreme rudeness. Some upkeep issues no local information later than 2005!, 3 corkscrews but only parts for a coffee maker. Great little cabin in beautiful location. Comfortable bed. Major appliances, water and septic all in good working order. No wifi

Miraloma 209 is a very comfortable unit for a get-away. We were greeted upon arrival and shown where everything was located. The secure parking puts your mind at ease. This unit is located in a nice quiet area and a 2 minute drive to town. Very convenient.

Good sized accommodation for two people. Condo was well stocked with all the amenities. Only suggestion would be to provide more information in the property binder. I.e. Some basic info on how to use the television, how to turn off the AC, things to do in the area, local restaurants, etc. Also, just a suggestion, update the travel magazines in the condo, most were over 3 years old. But other than those minor details this unit was great for the two of us.

Overall the cottage stay was acceptable but there are oversights that should be addressed as we pd a fair nitely price for this rental. The downstairs mattress is inadequate – Very uncomfortable & should be a hotel quality type mattress when you are continuously renting out unit. Also unmatching bed linens & towels were not hotel quality & definitely need upgrading. We had the feeling that what the owners didn’t use anymore was just placed in the cottage for guests to have to use.

Excellent place to stay. The cottage is comfortable and very nicely furnished. A friend and I stayed for 3 nights and we couldnt have asked for more except the bed on the main floor is very old and lumpy. The bed needs to be replaced. The upstairs bed is comfortable.

Beautiful home away from home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is so well appointed and comfortable. Its a stretch to call it a cottage since its really quite big! The owner has thought of everything that you might need. The only things that we would change or add is More access to tv channels it rained a lot so we stayed in!, newer stereo system and better quality toilet paper! Lol Other than that it was so nice to get away after months of isolation!

This house along with the management team gave our holiday experience an A. We really enjoyed our time in Sooke. This place is surrounded by trees and has a huge yard with its own dock. The views is breathtaking.

My friends and I wanted a place where we could stitch and for three days. The Sooke house was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, we each had our own room and bathroom and plenty of space to work on our projects. <br/>The greeters, Angela and Dwane were helpful and charming and answered all our questions. The view from the house was so beautiful and we were delighted with the bunnies and sweet little deer that visited the garden. <br/>We hope to come back again in the spring for more sewing and gazing out the windows.

A beautiful location. Gorgeous oceanfront property, Great hiking nearby. The home was very clean, but a little tired. Kitchen and bathrooms are older. Fairly well stocked kitchen. Accessed by a winding country road and then a steep driveway into property. Neither was a problem because they were well maintained. Exceptional property management team, went out of their way to accommodate us at the last minute.

This is a clean and cosy vacation home which we enjoyed for 3 nights. Many rooms and lots of spaces to accommodate 8 of us. Close to Victoria, Sooke and surrounding tourist attractions. Jacuzzi was a highlight to relax while enjoying the sunrise. Thank you for maintaining such a nice place.

Very nice, clean home with a fabulous view. Very well stocked kitchen. The hot tubs water needed to be balanced better lots of foam so we did not get to use it. Had fun playing pool. Overall very enjoyable 3 days.

It couldnt have better. Great we were able to rent entire house. Parents got perfect basement suite and adult children had upstairs. Place was well equipped and ideally situated for beach walks, bike rides, golf, wineries and exploring the area. Easy access to ferries and Sidney. It was very quiet didnt even notice nearby airport. Highly recommend.

Somewhat pricey, however, it was Xmas & prices for hotel/rental places tend to increase. Although, it was a great value.<br/> The kitchen had all the amenities you need to make a variety of meals.<br/>The house was sufficient for grandparents & family of 4 as there 2 bedrooms & full bath on 2nd for, and another bedroom on main, with access to another bathroom.<br/>No open fires allowed wood burning, but propane fire pts are acceptable.<br/>The inside fire place was unusable, and the Apple TV was not user friendly. The TV is a Roku Samsung which is not indicated in the listing & probably helpful for people to know. <br/>The solarium is a nice added touch, had the weather co-operated it could have been used as an extra sitting/play area for the kids. As a suggestion space heaters would have been added bonus to sit & watch the birds and seals in the ocean.<br/>Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
