Situated 2-3 minutes above Highway #1, you have spectacular views at every turn spanning from Seymour Mountain and Mount Baker to the east, across Vancouver and the Lions Gate Bridge, then westerly across to UBC, the Pacific Ocean and beyond to Vancouver Island. The area is also a hot spot for hikers, mountain bikers, walkers and joggers due to the number of natural woodland B.C. trails that run along the creeks throughout the area. Inside you'll find traditional finishing juxtaposed with stylish executive decor. When you first enter the house you have a sense of grandeur and space while at the same time remaining intimate. The main floor has vaulted 24 foot ceilings at both the entrance and family room. City and ocean views dominate from all rooms. Black Walnut hardwood floors cover the main floor. An elevator connects all levels. Upstairs, the bedrooms all have vaulted ceilings. The large master bedroom has its own fireplace, private view deck, spectacular spa-like vaulted en suite, and grand walk in closet. The second bedroom has the best view overlooking the Lions Gate Bridge and downtown and across to Vancouver Island. This bedroom shares a washroom and the garden patio with the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom is in the back of the house, complete with en suite and walk in closet. This bedroom is also tastefully painted with flower fairies on the walls. The basement contains a wine room, theatre room, powder room, full washroom, bar kitchen, and family room.

Mountainside Estates is located 3 minutes above the Upper Levels Highway. It takes 10 minutes to drive to Stanley Park, 15 minutes to downtown non rush hour and is on the main route to Whistler - about an hour and a half drive. You can also walk from the east side of the British Properties into the woods and take a short walk to Cleveland Damn, at the base of Grouse Mountain. This is the area that they were filming the second Twilight movie. Major hiking trails are throughout the area. Cypress Mountain is directly behind the property, a few more minutes up the hill. The local beaches are Ambleside and Dundarave famous walking sea wall and are down the hill only 5 minutes away. These areas have a dog beach, play grounds, fields, restaurants and shopping.
