This home also includes a wood burning fireplace in the living room, a cosy den and an office fully equipped with computer, printer and fax machine. The kitchen has been tastefully renovated using granite counter tops, new appliances and designer colors and cabinets. It opens onto a large family room with a counter eating bar. You will also be able to enjoy a hot tub enclosed in a gazebo located in the private fenced backyard. Lonsdale Heights is conveniently located within walking distance of many amenities, as well as many good restaurants which include: Italian, Greek, Japanese and great pubs. There are also 3 grocery stores and many specialty boutiques to shop at, all within walking distance. If needed, public transit is only 2 blocks away and within 30 minutes you can be in the middle of downtown Vancouver. You are only 10 minutes by car to the bottom of the 3 local ski mountains, Cypress, Grouse and Seymour Mountain, and in 2 blocks you are on the highway on your way to Whistler Mountain. Also 10 minutes by car is one of Vancouver's larger shopping malls, Park Royal, where you will find all the latest fashion stores. The house is situated in one of the best locations for the 2010 Olympics, where everything you need is so close at hand. |
