Nice stay
Monica Watson
Nice stay! Beautiful peaceful surroundings. You can definitely hear those in the unit above but nothing unreasonable. We were out exploring during most of the day and at night everyone war respectful of the noise level.
While the view truly was beautiful
Scout Laine
While the view truly was beautiful, and we very much appreciated the extensive resources for activities in the area, there were just too many things that hinder me from giving 5 stars. It is 12ish minutes out from everything - the drive is a beautiful one and the neighbourhood itself is quiet. Unfortunately it was not as peaceful as we had hoped. As some of the other reviews state, you can hear everything from the unit above. When walking through with shoes it literally sounded like stomping. At 11pm. Woke me up both nights. As well as the alarm system randomly beeping in the middle of the night. The wifi is spotty. We had to rewash some of the dishes before using them. We book out of the way places like this for a remote relaxing experience. That is sadly diminished when you can hear everything of the guests above. At the end of the day, not feeling like the stay was worth what we paid.
Great location and lovely place.

The space itself is beautiful, with incredible views and a remote, tranquil location that should be perfect for relaxing
Shaun Harrison
The space itself is beautiful, with incredible views and a remote, tranquil location that should be perfect for relaxing. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but restful.
Within ten minutes of arriving, we couldn’t believe how much noise transferred from the unit above. Footsteps, heavy stomping, furniture moving, doors, conversations, and even a loud domestic argument one evening could all be clearly heard.
The WiFi was also essentially unusable. We struggled to connect throughout our stay, and when we raised the issue, we were directed to contact the internet provider ourselves, which was incredibly frustrating.
We contacted EMR about both issues and asked about alternative accommodations, but none were available. We ultimately left exhausted and ready to move on.
Beautiful property and setting, but the soundproofing and internet need serious improvement. We would not recommend the lower suite and would only consider renting the main upper space.
Positive: quiet

Positive:
quiet, decent size of property, nice view when the tide is in...
Negative:
wifi very patchy; steep, irregular steps to access property; kitchen cupboards are very finicky; no amenities anywhere close by - must bring all supplies
This was a peaceful place to rest and rejuvenate

Positive:
Overlooking Coward Bay it was a lovely little spot very quiet very scenic
Negative:
Yes, it was a little ways out of town. You do need a car and a bit confusing going through the gate but figured it out automatic it’s a lovely place. Lots of stairs going down to the place so you need to be quite mobile.
Second time staying, and just as great as the first
Melissa Ratcliff
Second time staying, and just as great as the first. amazing view, super quiet, just so peaceful.
Great choice if you want a place to sit and relax, listen to birds, watch the tides ebb and flow
Todd Sloan
Great choice if you want a place to sit and relax, listen to birds, watch the tides ebb and flow. Make sure you bring a cooler (there is no freezer) and spices (incl salt and pepper) if you plan to cook. The location is quite remote and you need to drive to find walking trails. Otherwise, if you are looking to just chill for a couple of days this is a great choice!
