Quiet, charming, and well equipped home, with an idyllic location and beautiful views.

Positive:
Dragonfly Cottage is located in a lovely quiet area, only a few minutes walk from the coast, and a short drive from convenience stores and facilities. The cottage is charming, attentively decorated, and well equipped. It felt just like we were staying in a family home. The hosts kept us well informed, the neighbours were friendly, and the mornings were so very lovely and peaceful after we just spent 10 days enjoying lively Vancouver City!
The cottage had a comprehensive welcome folder, with all the information we needed for our stay. This may not sound like a big deal, but such information had been noticeably, and inconveniently, absent during our Vancouver city stay, so we greatly appreciated it!
The kitchen in particular was super well equipped which I greatly enjoyed, since we cooked at home daily.
The hot tub was a blissful extra for us. There were lots of rules laid down, regarding proper use and timings, but we were more than happy to comply, in order to enjoy the sunset in such a perfect setting with the gorgeous water view.
There was plenty of comfortable indoor seating space for our party of five, plus two lovely outdoor seating areas, on the surrounding deck, for dining and hanging out. There was even outdoor cooking equipment provided, which, sadly, we didn't have time, or energy to try.
Our kids were very excited to find a second wall mounted TV in the bedroom which offered a range of popular streaming services.
Negative:
The main downside for our party of 2 adults and three teenagers, was the single bathroom and, also, that the second bedroom was very small, housing a triple sleeper bunkbed (double below and single above). Both of these were as advertised, to be fair, so we were aware in advance that it would be a compromise.
The second bedroom would be better suited for one or two kids I think. Our seven day stay had consistently hot weather, which was most welcome in the daytime but, even with bedroom windows open, the bedrooms were very stuffy when fully occupied. The kids reported that their metal bunkbeds squeaked noisily, when anyone moved around. This meant that we often woke in the morning to find that one child or another had migrated to the lounge sofa during the night.
Another downside of the second bedroom was the tight floorspace. We had three suitcases laying on the floor in the lounge, because the storage cupboard in the second bedroom was locked, and the bed and desk took up most of the floor space. It wasn't ideal, but we coped.
The only other small downside was that the dishwasher was incredibly noisy to run. We had a laugh when we started it before bed on our first day, as we normally would at home, and realised just how loud it was. It wasn't a big deal, once we learned to run it while we were out exploring during the day.
In spite of these niggles we had a fantastic time and all agreed that we would stay at Dragonfly Cottage again. We were sorry to leave. Thank you!
A relaxing comfortable little cottage close to the Georgia Staight.

Positive:
We liked the accommodation as it was clean and very tastefully decorated.
Negative:
The door code we were given, did not work and it took quite some time to reach someone at the property management company to get an alternate code. Therefore delaying our check-in for quite some time. We also didn't appreciate the fridge being cranked so high it froze our food and ruined a number of our meals.
Positive: Quiet, Well equipped, comfortable and great decor. Negative: No stools for indoor table

If you have a dog that you like to travel with, this is the place for you! Dog bed, dog dish, dog treats were all available. It even came with a strong aroma of wet dog smell. Extra amenities such as coffee pods, tea and sugar were appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a gourmet meal or bake an elaborate desert. The bidet toilet seat was entertaining and the hot tub looked brand new and well maintained. The cottage was very tidy when we arrived.

Very well-appointed kitchen and home. Spacious. Full decks with many seating options to chase the sun or shade throughout the day. It's was blackberry season, so that was a fun activity with the kids. 10 min walk to boat landing, and an AMAZING hot tub. We had a great family stay.

The pictures don’t do it justice, this was a really lovely cottage. You can see the water from the patio, and the beach down the street is a lovely place to relax!
