Pacific Coast Beach House is a split level home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The main level of the home offers one bedroom, one bathroom, living room with wood burning fireplace, kitchen and dining area. The living room boasts floor to ceiling windows, patio access, a baby grand piano and stunning views of the ocean. Upstairs you will find a second bedroom, office space and a four piece bathroom. On the third level of the home is the very large, bright and comfortable master suite. Floor to ceiling windows, 10 foot ceilings and a private patio provide the perfect space to enjoy the unobstructed ocean views. There is also a one bedroom suite which is separated by the garage providing additional accommodation. The suite has a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and living area. The suite also has it’s own patio providing the same unobstructed view of the ocean and landscape surrounding the house.
Located on a very large and private property, Pacific Coast Beach House and Suite is located right on the ocean with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Whiffin Spit and the Olympic Mountain range. There is a large 50 ft dock with deep water moorage available and also a unique waterfront gazebo providing you every opportunity to view the abundance of wildlife and nature surrounding you.
East Sooke is a rural community but with amenities not too far away. A corner store, which is located about 10 minutes away by car or you can drive to the town of Sooke which has all amenities you will need. There are so many wonderful places to visit within the East Sooke and Sooke communities. East Sooke Regional Park has over 55 km of coastal and rain forest trails to explore. The Sooke Potholes is a popular swimming hole among the locals, the Galloping Goose Trail runs adjacent to the Potholes or visit the historic 17 Mile Pub which was built in 1894.

Absolutely gorgeous property
Absolutely gorgeous property. View from upstairs master bedroom is stunning. Hosts were pleasant to deal with and communication was good. Home was clean. Aside from all that, we felt like the property really needed some love. Problems working dishwasher, cooktop. Property needs attention.

Can’t beat the view
Can’t beat the view!!! It was peaceful and quiet. We heard owls and frogs at night and saw rabbits, eagles, sea otters, seals, salmon, crab and jellyfish. It is an older home with some problems but nothing major, master bedroom shower door wouldn’t close properly, the sink was slow draining and one of the blinds didn’t close properly, the suite living thermostat wasn’t working and suite shower had some issues, and we had problems with the dishwasher, but nothing is perfect and certainly didn’t affect our time there. I had a few questions and they were answered promptly. Would definitely recommend!

The views from this place are beautiful
The views from this place are beautiful. We rented the main house. The property was a little a bit far out. But that allowed for the beautiful night sky with no light pollution. The place is a little dated but was tidy. A few of the shades did not work. If you like the quiet and solitude this place is for you! We enjoyed the quiet nights with the midnight sky being the star of the show. Went into Sooke to grab a bite to eat each day and also hiked a few places in the area.
Nice view but poor property with safety concerns
Positive:
The property is very old and poorly maintained. U like other professional maintained shared space, this property has barely minimal facilities provided. The locker shown a wrong code at check in, causing us 30mins, then driving 20mins to get mobile phone reception to make phone call and get a correct code.
The first aid bags are expired in 2014 and 2020. No salt or oil provided. The microwave oven is broken and master bedroom blinds are broken.
Pots are very dirty. No extra linens provided
Negative:
There is a boat house near pier which is broken and dangerous- no sign to stop access. The pier is broken with serious safety issues.
What a magical place
What a magical place! The place was more updated than what the pictures show. The beds are very comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. The huge lot was a major plus and the kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi was great. It's only 2 mins from the East Sooke Regional Park which had the most incredible hiking. The general store was well equipped, even carrying fresh beef and chicken and everything we needed to get by on our week (except beer and wine - but you the liquor store is only 5 more mins away) The grounds were well cared for. Hope to be back one day!

Our group of three couples had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home. The location is absolutely stunning, and the views are some of the best we've experienced at any Airbnb. Waking up to the water every morning and spending time on the property made for a very relaxing getaway.
The home was spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for our group. We really enjoyed our time together and would definitely consider staying here again.
There were just a few small details that could make the experience even better. Two of the bathrooms didn't have hand soap when we arrived, a couple of the pots had burnt cooking residue, and some of the outdoor gazebo furniture could use a good cleaning or updating. Overall, some of the furnishings are starting to show their age.
These were relatively minor issues and didn't take away from what was an excellent stay. If you're looking for a beautiful waterfront property with incredible views and a great location, this is a wonderful choice.
Absolutely gorgeous property
Absolutely gorgeous property!! The long dock was beautiful, we even had surprise guests of jellyfish and seals at sunset. The gazebo was an unusual and fun touch, perfect for nighttime adventures to watch the sea. The grass in the backyard went on for days, we caught some amazing stargazing and even a shooting star. Surrounded by the rainforest and incredible views of the cove inside and out. Will 100% be back, this property stole my heart.
