Testimony for Morningside Ocean Estate

What a beautiful place, ideal for a family of 19 to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The house was wonderful, so much inside and outside space that we never felt crowded. The nine grandchildren loved the trampoline, pool and hot tub, kayaking, playing badminton, roasting marshmallows. The highlight was seeing a mother whale and her calf swim by.
Thanks to Janet for taking such good care of us. I would recommend this place 100.

Testimony for Manor Suite Off Rockland

We really enjoyed our stay in Victoria. The suite was very clean and modern, and we particularly liked the two-headed shower! The house where we stayed was also in a good location, very close to Government House and within walking distance of many of Victoria's beautiful sights, including Beacon Hill Park, Ross Bay, Oak Bay, Gonzales Hill, etc. Grocery shopping was not quite so convenient we had no car, but it was manageable.

The owner was very helpful in resolving two of the problems we encountered no WIFI internet access initially, and a break-down of the washing machine.

The were only three aspects of the suite that bothered us somewhat. First, the bed was not particularly comfortable, the mattress seemed to sag in places. Second, the suite had little natural light, as it was in the basement. And third, we sometimes got noise from upstairs, as it seems there is no sound-proofing between the upstairs and downstairs levels. Probably the owners also got some noise from us sometimes!

Anyway, overall it was an excellent experience, and we are very happy that we now know Victoria very well.

Thank you so much for assisting us in our home rental. We had a great stay and the property is stunning. Couple of comments. Your online booking for arrival time and departure time does not give any confirmation that the info has been received. I dealt with this issue on a home rental in New Zealand who used the same type of system. For some reason they did not get our info and we were standing outside for some time after we called them. Hence the reason I emailed you to confirm you had our info. The other thing, small, there were no big beer mugs or cups at this property to have a beer and clam. Maybe you could let the owner know. Other than that, there was every possible thing we required. Thank you again for your help.

There was a bit of a mix up for the greeter. I didn't have her cell number and when I tried the other numbers given in the email there was only voicemail on a Friday of a long weekend of course Seems that this process could be made simpler.

The house was in great condition. Some of the kitchen appliances and utensils could use an upgrade - knives, frying pan, stove and microwave. There was also no propane in BBQ.

We've been doing this for 9 yrs and this was voted the best one yet. Thanks!

We loved staying in Pendray House. The accomodation suited our family very well with the bunk rooms and TV room excellent for the children. The views were stunning and life on the beach at low tide was amazing. The children were able to use the small kayaks and loved paddling about in the inlet.

Testimony for Resthaven Cottage

Resthaven Cottage is a wonderful rental property. It is located in a very nice neighborhood in Sidney, close to the ferry, shopping and the sea.
The kitchen is very well equipped and a brand new gas BBG is right outside. We hosted a BBQ for 12 and had enough dishes, glasses and cutlery.
The garden is nice. We spent many hours out on the deck.
Sleeping was easy as the beds are comfortable not too soft and the neighborhood is quiet.
There is plenty to do in Sidney. Interesting shops and the Thursday night market is fun. We rented bikes and rode the bike path 30km to downtown Victoria.

In summary we highly recommend Resthaven Cottage.

We enjoyed our vacation tremendously. There are not many places where one can travel and feel so comfortable and relaxed like we experienced when we used this vacation property. We had a great stay. The home was in good condition, the only negative issue was the room next to the laundry was in a state of renovation. This was our first time using a vacation home and we found it quite enjoyable. Vacationing this way is much cheaper than other accomodations.

We had a wonderful vacation at Elysium. The view was to die for and the home was very clean and organized. The only negative is that the website said there were binoculars and we could not find them. We left ours at home. You need binoculars to see all the wildlife, yachts, sailboats etc. Would definitely rent this home for another vacation. Five stars from us.

We enjoyed out stay at this home. It was spacious and the view was everchanging. We would consider staying here again if we visit the Island. Only thing, it was a very hot summer for this area, unusually hot, and upstairs was difficult to sleep until about 2 am in the morning, then it was ok. No one has ac on the Island because it usually never reaches these temperatures. But August is getting hot everywhere. Nice location, close to the Butchart Gardens and Victoria. Mill Bay is only 35 minutes away if you catch the ferry right so good reason to stay here. Nice folks in the neighborhood to talk too and lots of rabbits.

EMR was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We had a large group of people with a lot of different needs so they helped us find the best rental for everyone. Anytime we had a question before or after we made our reservation they were quick to answer. When we are booking our next vacation, our first stop will be EMR.

The owners of the property are very nice, and the suite is nicely appointed. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is useful for quick meals. The neighborhood is beautiful, and the walk into town is great for those who enjoy walking. The suite is in a walk-out basement, and though there are windows, it is a bit dark.

We had a great stay at the Lakeside Cottage, but found the website to be misleading as this is a one room cabin with a murphy bed in the living room. Also it was not as clean as could be with cob webs and dead insects throughout. The location was perfect though and we really appreciated the flexibility of our reservation agent.

We did have the following problems; the toilet flushed 9 to 14 times after each flush. Our phone did not work for over 10 days so we had to wait until building repairman was working to be able to report it. It took 5 more days to repair. We had to go down on the floor to turn on and off the water in able to use the toilet. When it was fixed it still half flushed about 8 or nine more times. The phone finally started to work after 10 days - the building manager nicely let us use the phone in the board room until it was fixed. I wish there were some instructions as what to do when the wedding music in the garden and The Latch continued loudly after midnight. We did enjoy our stay and the unit was quite nice except for the toilet and phone problems.

We, including my sister-in-law's family enjoy very much our stay in Parksville Ravenwood Cottage and we're looking forward of spending sometime again next year. It's a great place for a family to stay. With all the amenities, parks, beach, natural parks etc. around the area it's just the right place for us to stay. I would surely recommend this place to our friends. We surely be there again next year.

It was an excellent location, we could walk to anywhere downtown or on the harbour and in fact used our car very infrequently. It was great if you have a dog as there are 2 green spaces across the street. There are excellent restaurants and pubs within 5-10 minutes and the cafe/restaurant around the corner is a great breakfast/lunch spot.
The only concern we had was with the car. Unloading in the alley cost us a parking ticket even though we only left the car unattended for 10 minutes. If you are lucky it is better cheaper to park at one of the street parking spots on either side of Waddington Alley. The second concern with parking was the lot where our pass was for. If we left in the morning and returned before 3-4 pm we could not find parking in the lot and had to pay for parking at another lot, so advise that you make a long day of your car trip or if there was some reimbursement or allocation for another of the Roberts lots it would be nice.
Despite the issues with the car we would return to this location in a heart beat. We still haven't seen all of Victoria, even after 2 weeks, and we never got further north on the island than Butchart Gardens.

The flat are 303 Morley was generally well-equipped and well-maintained. The location is unbeatable most everything is within easy walking distance. The Welcome Guide with information on Victorias attractions, transportation, restaurants, etc., was particularly useful, though it could use updating in some areas. The Malahat no longer runs, for example. I look forward to staying with you again and will recommend your service to friends.
