Reminiscent of a Whistler chalet, this recently renovated 4/5 bedroom home has been designed for active living, entertaining and relaxing. In the friendly neighbourhood of Eagle Harbour, located two blocks from the beach and steps to the Seaview Trail, this home boasts warm wood, West Coast charm and a highly functioning open layout.

Close to Olympic venues, you have easy access to the Highway #1 and Horseshoe Bay ferries 5min, Cypress Mountain 20min, Downtown Vancouver 30min, the Callahan Valley 50-60min, and Whistler 70-90min. Public transit is a 5 min walk and shopping is just up the hill.

This 3000 square foot home provides the conveniences that comfortably support an active lifestyle. The interior design is a combination of shaker and craftsman style. The flooring is predominately hardwood with some tile and carpet. High ceilings and an abundance of windows take advantage of the natural light and greenery that surround the home. There is ample closet space.

The main entrance welcomes you to the relaxing living room where the layout takes full advantage of the floor to ceiling bay windows. Or, head straight for the mingling area that encompasses the gourmet kitchen. Meals can be more formal at the large harvest table or less formal at the kitchen bar. A mudroom separates the kitchen from the large recreation room and provides for easy access to laundry and an alternate entrance. The recreation room is close enough to know what is going on, but far enough away so as not to disturb the kitchen conversation. Double doors open onto the backyard. With its own bathroom and a French door to separate it from the main living area, the recreation room is also able to function as an additional bedroom. Two bedrooms on the main floor each sleep one or two persons. These rooms share a full, modern bathroom with dual-sinks. Upstairs, the master bedroom holds two closets and ample space. The 4-piece ensuite includes an over sized rain-head shower, a soaker tub, and a beautiful cathedral ceiling. The fourth bedroom upstairs comfortably sleeps two persons.

The family room and kitchen are furnished with TVs. The master bedroom is also able to accommodate a TV. The house hosts high speed, wireless internet access and a computer station able to support two computers. Enjoy listening to your own music throughout the house with the I-Pod docks located in various rooms.

This is a truly comfortable home and will offer a location from which to take full advantage of Vancouver and the 2010 Winter Olympics.

PAYMENTS REQUIRED

The first payment is a deposit of 50% of the accommodation total plus applicable taxes due at time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to occupancy. Damage deposits are a pre-authorized hold on your credit card and are collected only if deemed necessary.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and a Bank Wire Transfer are all accepted methods of payment. All payments are in Canadian dollars. All reservations must be secured by a credit card.
