This lovely private and roomy oceanfront home, recently built around the original, uniquely designed cottage, is beautifully decorated in fine west-coast comfort, rests in its own protected cove and offers spectacular views of Sooke Basin. The clean private pebble beach with its natural clear tidal waters reveals the amazing ocean life of starfish, shellfish, eagles, osprey, wild swans and while wandering through the property you might be fortunate to come upon wild peacocks or a bevy of quails! An early morning beach walk or kayak trip might offer you the marvelous sight of otters cavorting on the shore or rafting in the ocean seaweed, sea birds fighting over the morning catch, or possibly seals bobbing like corks, watching you with equal curiosity!

Covey Run has its own fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and two bedrooms and a wood burning stove. This suite sleeps four, with two additional individuals able to be accommodated. The lower deck offers the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor sleeping porch if you so desire. Image the cool, fragrant, fresh night air, sounds of the ocean, and cooing birds lulling you to sleep and has a bar-b-que for your usage.

Bask in the new six-person Jacuzzi hot tub, with a heavenly experience of massage, mood lights and waterfall, while being only feet away from the ocean!

From this peaceful retreat, venture forth and enjoy the many gifts South Vancouver Island has to offer beachcombing, birdwatching, fishing, whale watching, horseback riding, water skiing in the Sooke Basin. You are just a couple of kilometers from the fabulous experience of hiking the East Sooke Park, fifteen minutes from the popular Sooke Potholes for adventurous fresh water swimming, only twenty minutes from Sooke and guided fishing off Juan de Fuca strait.
